La mia ricerca descrive il rapporto tra società e immagine, in un momento storico in cui gli stimoli visivi sono presenti in ogni ambito della comunicazione. La rappresentazione dell’immagine come sintesi tra contenuto e forma, risente del sovraccarico della propria costante riproduzione perdendo ogni intento rassicuratore. Le relazioni diventano così scambi confusi, confronti insaziabili e mutabili, dove l’individuo perde e recupera le sue caratteristiche, perché questo fa parte delle regole del gioco. Al di là di enigmatici riferimenti culturali e delle loro implicazioni, dei diversi livelli di narrazione, c’è la volontà di imprigionare un vissuto che accomuna la nostra epoca.

My research describes the relationship between society and the image, in a historical moment in which visual inputs are present in all areas of communication. The representation of the image as a synthesis between content and form, is affected by the overload of their constant reproduction, losing any reassuring intent as a consequence relationships become confused exchanges, insatiable and mutable comparisons, where the individual loses and recovers its characteristics, because this is part of the game’s rules. Beyond enigmatic cultural references and their implications, the different levels of narrative, there is a willingness to imprison an experience that unites our age.
